The Journey to Smart City

From the 15th and up to the 17th of June, the Municipality of Kifissia is organizing a three-day event that emphasizes on the concept of the Smart City.

The event will be consisted by a one-day Conference that will take place in the Goulandris Museum of Natural History (Gaia Centre) and a three-day open space Festival that will take place at the “heart” of the commercial center of Kifissia City.

In the Conference, Greek and Israel high-level speakers and participants coming from the sectors of Central Government, Local Government, Business and Entrepreneurship, will present to the audience the latest innovations in terms of policies and technological solutions, mapping in the process the necessary steps and adversities that must be overcome during the Journey of transforming a city to a Smart City.

Throughout the three days of the Festival, companies from Greece and Israel will display in specially formed exhibition areas their innovative technological solutions for Smart Cities, giving the opportunity to all visitors of Kifissia City to get acquainted with specific smart applications that are currently available to be used, making their cities more ecological, economical, efficient and smart.
